Salisbury Steak

The meat itself was very good, and good the next day as well but the gravy tasted way too strongly of worchestshire. It was almost inedible. I would recommend anyone trying this recipe, follow it exactly (or increase gravy, perhaps) but only add the worchestshire at the end and "to taste."

Great recipe but consider "tweaking" it to your tastes. I found the cinnamon was too strong and mixture was too dry. With a couple minor changes...YUM!

Goulash Supreme

Like most other reviewers, we had mixed reactions at my house. I found this bland, my husband too spicy. You can't win, right? It definitely needed salt and a fair amount of water added to boil the noodles. This is a great recipe for someone who doesn't follow recipes to the letter. It's a good starting point. With a little tweaking, it's excellent. (I WILL make it again.)

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Great side dish! I served this at Thanksgiving and everyone who tried it liked it. Because it's a little unusual with such a variety of ingredients a lot of people hesitated to even try it. Picky eaters need not apply!

Chocolate Brittle Surprise

AWESOME!!! Everyone loves this and it tastes like it was made at an expensive little candy shop. Be sure to cook it long enough so it's not gooey and nuts need to sink into chocolate to stick.

Chicken Veggie Stir Fry

Great recipe to break through the fear-barrier of oriental cooking. I added fresh ginger and carrots; cut back on the chicken and soy sauce (way too much of both for my family). With these minor changes this is destined to be a favorite in my house!!!
