Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

GREAT - my 10 year old grandson, who eats very little , had 3 servings. i used half as much butter as called for and it worked just fine. will surely make again and again!

GREAT cheesecake. everyone said it was the lightest cheesecake they ever ate. while assembling it though, i saw that if i finished with the final layer of ladyfingers then the cherries i would of had an overflowing mess - so i put the cherries on top of the last layer of cream cheese then with a few of the remaining ladyfingers made a design on top of the cherries. next time i make this -and i will - i'll use a l0 inch pan.

Elvis Cookies

WAY to much butter! I was using two ovens and because there was so much batter, by the time I got down to the last batch they came out greasy and flat and I wound up throwing these away. I gave these three stars only because the first few batches were ok and my grandson, who doesn't eat much, ate at least 8 of them. He loved them! If I make these again I will cut the recipe in half and decrease the butter - probably in half.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

this is really good. only change i made was to add some parmesan cheese on top of the monterey cheese. i used ragu 6 cheese sauce (think i like cheese??!).

really, really good. only thing i did different was to double the crumb mixture. be sure to watch carefully b/c it browns quickly - or sit casserole dish on low rack of oven.

Sour Cream Burgers

when i make burgers i usually use ground sirloin - but decided to go with ground round with this recipe. made these for memorial day bbq and everone loved them. my husband wanted to know what i did different and when i told him about the sour cream he was pleasantly surprised. this is my new burger recipe!

Coconut Breaded Chicken with Crunchy Fruit Sauce

made this for tonights dinner and it was a great hit!! it was easy to make and delish to eat. at the meat department in my local supermarket, i bought chicken stir fry strips. doubled the amount to 2 lbs and doubled the bread crumb/coconut mix. did not double the sauce amounts. came out perfect!! try it - you'll love it!!

Baked Orange Roughy Italian-Style

this is so good! next time i make it i will cut back on the salt. the cheeses have enough salt in them so that unless you are crazy for salty food you might want to cut back the first time you make this.

Blueberry Crumb Pie

DELICIOUS!! because other reviewers said that the pie was watery i substituted the flour in the recipe with 1/2 cup of King Arthur's pie filling enhancer. worked perfectly!

Momma's Sloppy Joes

my husband and i loved this! does not serve 6 - the two of us finished the whole batch. the directions should have said to reduce the heat to simmer after adding the meat - then continue to stir for 30 minutes -thats what i did and it was wonderful. p.s. - i used ground sirloin.

wonderful!! we ate most of it and then i put the rest in frig. - didn't really hold up well - got real soggy - no problem - like i said, we ate most of it the day i made it.
