I'm a corporate performer so I travel constantly but I still make time to cook when at home and sometimes on the road. I really love trying new foods during my travels. Over the last 10 years I have eaten at least 42 of the Triple D location and for the most part found them good. Im starting to my new list of the "Best thing I ever ate " series 8 so far but I will keep you informed :)
My favorite things to cook
BBQ BBQ BBQ BBQ Oh did I mention I like to cook BBQ? Certainly my favorite thing but I also love seafood and have gotten pretty good at it. One surprising thing I have learn is Mexican food is a lot more complex than you think. Believe me its not just tacos and nachos. I have found amazing Mexican seafood dishes and was surprise with the multitude of spices they use. Recently I tried my hand in homemade pasta. Nothing like it. A Bolognese sauce with fresh fettuccine is like WOW! Cooking is free therapy for me
My favorite family cooking traditions
I was so lucky growing up. Coming form the south we generally get stuck with only southern food (Which I Love Dearly) However at a young age I was introduce to all types of food. My mom would go really exotic at times but even it help me develop my pallet.
To answer you real question my family was all about the BBQ or the Fish fry. You have never had a fish sandwich to taste my moms whiting fish burgers. Hell I got to go...I'm a craving right now
My cooking triumphs
I learn to make homemade pasta! Turns out I'm good at it. Also made a successful souffle last month. I still patting myself on the back for that one.
My cooking tragedies
Been lucky I haven't had any major disasters (Knock on Wood)
