Lemon Pie Bars
Okay so I just made these things today...had a craving for Lemon Bars (and it's been years since I had them). I was leary about it not being tart enough for my liking. SURPRISE it was! The filling was awesome. I didn't have a grater to get the lemon zest so I just kind of scraped the lemon with a knife to get the zest, lol. My own screw up I guess was when I was baking the crust, it came out the perfect color...it was brown...more like a light tan color...but when I grabbed a slice, it was burnt at the bottom which I didn't understand why. Still edible and delicious though...definitely will make again but when making the crust, I won't leave it in there for 15 minutes.
