Sauteed Apples
Really tasty way to use up apples! My friend who owned a restaurant and was a pastry chef used to make a stuffed croissant french toast that used a carmel sauce and apples that tasted kind of like this. If you cut open a croissant part way, spread a thin layer of cream cheese and add these apples inside before gently soaking them in a french toast custard and cooking as usual in a buttered pan, you'll have something truly amazing to serve for a fancy breakfast! I will be sure to use this recipe instead from now on!

Pumpkin Cookies V
WOW! Very yummy and easy to half the recipe (although now I wish I hadn't!) I used freshly roasted pumpkin from my garden and added some cinnamon to the frosting (my son's suggestion) and they were absolutely delicious. Kind of tastes like the pumpkin scones from Starbucks, but more moist and flakey. Spooned the warm frosting over the tops of warm cookies with no problem. Dunking them sometimes resulted in broken cookies since they were so moist and fragile while warm.

Buttercup Squash Bread
Very tasty recipe! I did add 3 tbsp of gluten flour to add more to the rise and I also used pumpkin spice (roughly a few tsps) instead of caraway. I put all the ingredients in the bread maker which kept me from having to add any flour to the recipe. I basted with cinnamon honey maple butter before the final rise and baked at 400 like the recipe called for. It is delicious! My son especially likes it for his PB and J sandwiches and my husband says it really good for roast beef too.
