About this Cook
I love cooking and always have!
My favorite family cooking traditions
The only cooking tradition we have is a family BBQ sauce recipe. I think its pretty good.
My cooking tragedies
Forgetting butter in the pumpkin pies at Thanksgiving. Left it in the microwave after I melted it. Found it after I took the pie out of the oven. Brutal.

Southern Pulled Pork
Used 4 cups chicken broth instead of water for more flavor.

Chicken Fried Chicken
Great! Served with country gravy and mashed potatoes and it was a hit. Doubled the dry ingredients because of the large size chicken breasts I had.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
Tasted like root beer, even after I let it cook for an hour in the BBQ sauce. Gross, pulled pork shouldn't taste like rootbeer.
