I love cooking!! I'm not an expert but I have a few dishes that I'm confident could win prizes...well, maybe. I love gardening and cooking with what's in season and sharing with the neighbors. I love my little urban farm and just added 12 beautiful laying hens this year. Although my favorite is Charolette, the 1 meat bird sent by accident. I'm working on helping the neighbors figure out that cooking REAL food is way better and more tasty that the pre packaged stuff thay call 'food' these days. So glad its BBQ season! Thankfully my hubby lets me do the grilling... Blueberry Pie...mmmmmm Anything Polish around the holidays...I mean who doesn't like potato filled pastries... Five layer choc. cake for my mother-in-laws birthday... Lets face it, it HAD to be perfect. Five layer choc. cake....yeah, took me a few tries to get this one right... sheesh...
