About this Cook
Married 24 years, Mom of 2 great kids - ages 22 and 17.
My favorite things to cook
When I just take what we have and create something new and it's a hit! Just wish I could remember what I did to make it again...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Easter. Out come the salad recipes (new and old and as many as possible) and away goes the heavy winter meal recipes!!
My cooking triumphs
Through years of trying different recipes, the most requests I get is for Curried Chicken. A 40+ year old family recipe that we were fortunate enough to have handed over to us. Nothing even comes close to it's popularity
My cooking tragedies
Many. Usually involves baking. I'm all thumbs with flour everywhere.

Perfect Sesame Chicken
Great recipe once it was adjusted just a bit as per reviews. Less cornstarch for sauce, less sugar (1/3 Cup was fine) Fairly easy to make which means it's right up my alley! Thanks!

Linguine Pasta with Shrimp and Tomatoes
This was very good. I made and used a Cajun Seasoning from a recipe on AR. The only changes were to add some dry basil (had no fresh) and heavy cream as suggested on a post by the creator of the recipe. Good stuff!! I'm sure this will be asked for often. Thanks for the recipe!

Cream Cheese Squares
My kids came in and weren't overly impressed by how it looked but after they tasted it..well, lets just say this didn't last long. They devoured it! Ok, maybe their dad and I helped a little bit!! So good with jam on top of the cream cheese mixture! I'd have to go along with the other reviewers and say just generously brush on some melted butter. Wonderful, easy recipe. Thanks!
