I am a Market Farmer with my husband. We raise chickens for eggs, bees for honey, and a large garden for the Farmer's Market. I am a member of the Slow Food Movement, and grow Ark of Taste heirloom vegetables. You can find my farm at LocalHarvest.org as The Farm of Hard Rocks. I cook seasonally, that is, I don't buy or eat foods that are not in season in my local area. My Grandmother, and my Mother were great Southern cooks. I learned to cook and eat fresh, seasonal foods at an early age. I once a made a pizza and used hash browns instead of mozzarella cheese by mistake. I had a lot of strange looks at the table!
