Great Grandma's Pork and Sauerkraut
I make this pretty often, but here are the changes I make. I use 2 lbs of country ribs salt and pepper well then sear. I use 1 onion and 2 apples diced and saute in a bit of olive oil then use 1tsp of brown sugar to mellow the acidity. I return the ribs to the pot and cover with sauerkraut. Simmer for 4-6 hours and serve with mashed potatoes. Delish!

Swiss Chicken Casserole II
This was simple and tasted pretty good. I just spiced up the chicken with some garlic and onion powder.

Rustic Autumn Fruit Tart
I liked this but made some alterations. I did not have cardamom so I added some allspice and a little extra cinnamon. I think if I were to make this again I would reduce the orange juice slightly. I wasn't crazy about the flavor it created. I would possibly add another pear. The apples seemed to over power the pears. Otherwise simple tasty recipe would make again.
