Streusel Topped Blueberry Muffins

These were okay. The topping was too sweet. The cinnamon in the topping and the lemon zest in the muffin did not blend well together. They are both bold tasting ingredients and tasting them together along with the super sweet topping were all just too much for me. I tried a different recipe, "Blueberry Muffins II", much better. These are the best tasting blueberry muffins! Simple, not too sweet, very moist and just really tasty. The only things I changed were switching the milk for fat free half and half and I didn't smash the 1/2 cup of blueberries.

Blueberry Muffins II

The best blueberry muffins ever ! I didn't smash the 1/2 cup blueberries though and I used 1/4 cup fat free half and half instead of 1/4 cup milk. These were so moist and tasted as if they came from some really good bakery!

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Easy to make, flaky and delicious! For a slightly sweeter crust try adding 3 Tbs. powdered sugar! This is my favorite pie crust!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Extremely good. I added an extra 1/2 cup of flour though because they were too flat the first time around and easily fell apart. The extra flour fixed the problem and the cookies were still really soft. They were so good I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream between 2 cookies and they helped to make a really tasty ice cream sandwich!

Icy Blender Lemonade

Very refreshing on a hot summer day! I added about 1/3 cup lemon juice instead of the peeled lemon, 10 ice cubes instead of 6 and 2 extra Tb. of sugar.

Glazed Meatloaf II

This meatloaf was good, but the sauce was too sweet and the rest just tasted ordinary. The large number of ratings led me to believe that this was going to be one of the best meatloafs ever but it just tasted like something I've thrown together in the past without a recipe and minus the really sweet sauce. I will try another recipe from this site next time.

Whoopie Pies I

Classic whoopie pie! The only thing I changed was omitting the egg whites from the filling and adding about 2 Tb. of milk and an extra 1/4 cup of powdered sugar. Great recipe!

Zucchini in Sour Cream Sauce

Really good. I have zucchini in my garden that I didn't really know what to do with and saw this recipe. I'm glad I gave it a try. I even like it without the sour cream added. Excellent. It seems more like a creamy soup to me, which I like, and I even tried adding some cheese to the mixture. Yummy. It was like eating a warm bowl of cheesy soup :)

Blackberry Pie I

I made this recipe with an all butter crust, delicious! My whole family said this is the best blackberry pie ever! Very, very good:) It's so simple yet so tasty. This will be the recipe I will continue to use. Its so good there is no reason for me to look for another!
