Chunky Monkey Pancakes
These tasted much lighter than the name sounds - the chunky texture really came from the nuts since the bananas softened and the chocolate chips melted during cooking. I substituted vegetable/canola oil for the butter and hazelnuts for the pecans. We ate these with maple syrup. I enjoyed the flavor combination, but my husband was not a fan of "something - either the banana or the maple." This yielded 5 large pancakes for me. If you plan to have 9, make sure to keep them about the size of your palm.
