This is delicious! I really wanted to try monkey bread so I chose this simple recipe. It was incredibly quick and easy. Heed the warning about waiting for 10 minutes while it cools, the glaze is really hot. When you flip it out the glaze spills out onto the top and covers it. It's really good warm, but I cooled it to room temperature and took it to a get-together and it was devoured. Will make again and again. :) Thanks.

Great in a pinch. If you want something better - you'll need more time. But I think that's why this recipe is cool; it's QUICK and SIMPLE. Actually, it tastes just like that dough mix that's included in the Chef Boyardee pizza kits, if you've ever had those. I usually make a different, more involved, pizza dough but I needed to make one fast, as I had company coming over for dinner. It got the job done.

Excellent recipe! Only changes I made were: Instead of just milk, I mixed 1 cup skim milk with 1 cup heavy cream and divided as necessary. Omitted the raisins (don't like them). Also, instead of using a separate saucepan after cooking the rice, I just did it all in the same one as this keeps all the starch in the mix! (makes it a tad creamier) :) Thanks for sharing!
