After years of being independent and career-oriented in the big city (San Francisco), I learned to cook for myself. Now as a new 'stay-at-home-(fill in the blank),' I am looking forward to cook for two (or more) in a new country - Australia! I'm a new cook and learning, so I seek the expertise of fellow cooks. Quick and EASY recipes are preferred. The metric units take some getting used to, but I am glad for the US conversion on this website. I am open to trying anything good, healthy, and comforting for the soul. Food brings people together.

Vietnamese cuisine - it's so clean and healthy, but the prep time is laborious.

When we gather around the table to make Vietnamese spring rolls, watching everyone make different variations of the same dish is fun. The conversations are always nice, since we have to work to make our meal.
