This recipe is great. I did make a few changes just because of what I had and didn't have on hand. I used a 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes and only one 6 ounce can of tomato paste. I also added 1/4 of a green pepper and a couple fresh mushrooms. Other than that I followed the directions exactly. My hubby said this was the best lasagna that he ever had. I gave this 3 stars because I made lots of changes. I was preparing this at the last minute and couldn't make it to the store so I didn't have the ingredients on hand. I had to make a chocolate and a white cake from scratch. For the crumbs on top I made sugar cookies and ground those up real fine. I also thought it would be dry without some kind of frosting on the cakes so I just put some Hershey's fudge on the top instead of adding the pudding. I also didn't have any tootsie rolls but I did have little Debbie brownies so I rolled those up into the turds. I am so happy I did because I thought the tootsie rolls would be to hard and chewy for a cake. After all of that it was fantastic. I took this to a Halloween party and everyone thought it was cool.

I thought this recipe is great. I just made it and it awesome. It does look a little more yellow than white but the taste is great. I only made to changes, I used sour milk instead of buttermilk because I didn't have any and I used 2 teaspoons vanilla because I love vanilla. I didn't have any problems and I am a beginner at this baking stuff.
