Simple Pork and Cabbage Skillet

Very good. I bought pork chops that were seasoned with cajun seasoning, so I didn't need to add the salt or pepper. Also I didn't add the flour, we used the "gravy" over some rice. Husband loved it, and never noticed that there were apples in the receipe. Will make again!

Wave Your Flag Cheesecake

AWESOME. I used blackberries for the outside of the "flag" and it was good, just rolled them in some sugar so they were not so bitter. Will make again next year.

Very Good! However, it took longer then expected. Very, very moist after it was cooked. Husband added his own spices, and turned out well seasoned. Would make again.

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

These are wonderful! My husband kids loved them!!!! No more box pancake mixes for us. I did freeze what was left over, so I will have to see how that ends up working out.

Baby Back Ribs

These were awesome! My husband cooked them. He was going to put the bar-b-que sauce at the end, but they were perfect dry. We bought them alredy seasoned, so he did not have to do anything, except put them in the oven. I think I will him make them often!

Cinnamon-Apple Chex® Mix

Very Tasty!!! I added dried cranberries with apples instead of just apples (found next to the raisins at the grocery store). Also wait longer then 5 mintues to put the yogart covered raisins...otherwise they will start melting. I did wait about 15 and some still did melt.

Slow Cooker Manly Stew

Good stew. This is the first I have ever done. I just added some beef broth because I was worried it would not be liquidie(?) enough, it came out good. I just find there needs to be more spices. Next time I think I will take the potatoes and shake them in a ziploc bag with spices. Overall... will make this again!

Pear Preserves Cake

Great cake! It is fluffy and light (so beat the sugar and the butter really good). Instead of making the carmel sauce, I found a recipe for cream cheese glaze and drizzled that on. Will make again since we have three pear trees!

Enchilada Casserole III

It was very good. I did subsitute the powder enchilada for canned, and put taco seasoing instead of the garlic and onion salt. Even my 2 1/2 year old and husband ate all what was on their plate!
