I love to bake; cookies, cakes, muffins, pies - they are all my favorites to make.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I can make a delicious vegetable dish I feel a sense of personal triumph, as my boyfriend detests veggies. So it must be delicious for him to be eating it!
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to make a lemon meringue pie with a hand whisk. I whisked for an hour and still didn't get proper peaks. It turned out to be a kind of lemon-melted-marshmallow pie. It didn't taste bad, but the texture was waaaay off.

Amazing Chicken
This is a great idea, although I do like adding some additional spices to give the chicken some flavor. When I was younger my nana used to coat a chicken breast in a mayonnaise, Parmesan, and spices mixture. This is somewhat similar to that.

Fresh Strawberry Pie I
I made this with no modifications, and it came out great. I combined it with a shortbread crust, which I think really complimented the strawberries well.

Shortbread Crust
This tasted great, and was really quick to whip together. It made more than enough for my one pie, probably enough for two.
