I love to cook. I really enjoy baking breads though...something about the kneading and rising and the final baking that just gives me a real sense of accomplishment..

Cocoa Banana Bars
YUMMMM! When I was putting it into the pan I wasn't sure it was going to turn out since it was really thick...but it was perfect...we ate half the pan shortly after it came out of the oven.

'Day Before Payday' Kielbasa and Corn Hash
It was pretty darned good actually. Everyone (including the one year old) enjoyed it. I made it with fresh green pepper and fresh onions..otherwise it was exactly as written. Love how inexpensive and easy to make it was.

Traditional Gyro Meat
Couldn't find ground lamb so I ended up using ground chicken and ground beef. I found it really really really dry. We ate it...but it had to have a TON of tzatziki sauce on it.
