Quick and easy. I added 1 teaspoon of vanilla to the caramel sauce while cooking. YUMMY!!!!

Great sweet treat! I didn't have the 'Grands' biscuits, so I used regular buttermilk ones instead. There weren't enough biscuits to go around 8 apple halves, I had enough biscuit for 4 halves. Worked out great though, I put the butter/vanilla/sugar sauce over the dumplings in a 8x8 glass dish and baked for 27 minutes. YUM!!!
