I love to cook and try new recipes. Cookbooks are my downfall. I have one son, four grandsons and two beautiful great granddaughters! I like to try new recipes. Desserts are my favorite things to make and next comes my yearly candy making. My mom is 85 years old and we get in the kitchen in November and start making our candy that is sent as gifts all over the country. My now husband said when he tasted the first meal I had prepared for him, he knew he had to marry me...........His mother was not a cook! When one is trying out new recipes at least once a week.......one tends to have a failure once in a while. My husbands encourages me to continue to try new recipes and once......we threw out the dish (Tuna Casserole) and headed to a resturant!
