The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
this was my first stab at ever making cookies from scratch and they turned out pretty good! the key was putting the dough in the freezer for about 2 hours. i would only roll out a chunk at a time, do the cut outs on parchment paper, and bake in small batches. it's also important to roll the dough to the right thickness- the thin ones burned. the thicker ones had a great texture. can't wait to try this again for holidays.
