Sicilian Lentil Pasta Sauce
I left out the sugar and the last bit of water intentionally, and the garlic less intentionally and it was great. My toddler LOVED this so hence the 5 star stamp of approval. She is going through a fussy stage and usually doesn't really want to touch much of her dinner at night. She actually gobbled it all up! I suspect that this recipe could be quite easily converted to a crockpot recipe. If you cook it in a wok with gas it only takes about 30 minutes too.

Best Ever New Zealand Pavlova
Some tips for those cooks who did not grow up downunder... Malt vinegar is the traditional vinegar used. This is the one recipe I do not hand mix. Out with the electric beater as it needs a good 10-15 minutes. If there is any yolk in the mix you will end up with pavlova pancake. Break all eggs separately and carefully. No stomping around the kitchen and no opening the oven door to check what is inside...otherwise pavlova pancake! If you don't have suitable fresh fruit, grated chocolate is also a good decoration.

All Day Macaroni and Cheese
Don't bother boiling up the pasta. I used left over cheddar and made up the rest of the cheese with mozzarella. Just use the odds and ends that you might have. I added some paprika but that didn't have much influence on the taste whatsoever. I used 1 egg and extra egg white left over from another recipe. And I greased the cooker with olive oil. So how was it? Pretty good and it still is good cold. My toddler decided she wasn't into the pasta in a big way last night and seems to prefer it cold when the cheese is solid. A good solid comfort food type dish.
