My First Fondant Cake
About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom (30ish), to 4 super fabulous children , and wife to a wonderful hardworking and loving husband.
My favorite things to cook
I looove baking cupcakes, birthday cakes, and decorating cookies. I enjoy making breads, homemade pastas and sauces. I am willing to cook just about anything and everything as long as it tastes good.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking Christmas cookies on Christmas Eve as a child with my immediate family. Making and setting up the desserttable for Christmas parties with my Grandmother. I think it is important to carry on these traditions and share them with my children.
My cooking triumphs
Ohhh YAY me!! I made jelly and jams this year with huge raves and yesssssss they set correctly and taste super awesome on fresh baked bread. And have successfully made superb cakes for birthdays and wedding cakes with fonadant, thanks to AR!!!
My cooking tragedies
Ouch this one could hurt, I made this thing at one time when i was 13, it was called a "ham loaf" and man it was awful not even sure I remember if it had ham in it, or what the rest of the ingredients were, but my parents ate it to not hurt my feelings, and now they will never let me forget about it. Every once in a while, I hear the dreaded ham loaf story.
