Pastry Cream
I used this to fill cream puffs. I made it the day before filling the cream puffs and it kept well. I didn't put through a strainer but it definitely needs it to avoid lumpiness.

Tomato Vodka Sauce
Very good. I added a clove of garlic and went a little light on the cream. I also didn't cook off the tomatoes as much as the recipe suggests. We will make this again.
