Really a homebody at heart. I do work full time but love to work in the kitchen when I have time off. I make quick breads all the time and take them to church and work. Always searching recipes for good ideas and then trying them. I even enjoy cooking dinner every night when I get home. This year my husband & I gardened in the back yard. Had lots of tomatoes, peppers, squash, canteloupes, etc. Have a winter garden now - can hardly wait for the collards. Looking forward to next summer and an even bigger garden. Lots of vegies to cook with. Also sing in the praise team at church and Love the Lord! Quick Breads, Cakes, tasty vegetables and chicken. Really like to cook just about anything! Cakes for birthdays and special goodies for holidays (Cookies, candy, candied nuts, etc.). Also love to cook for pot lucks at church. Everyone seems to love my quick breads. Banana, peach, pumpkin, apple and more. When I first started cooking, I was not paying attention enough when the recipe called for baking powder rather than baking soda. Boy, what a mess. Couldn't even think about eating that mess.
