Whole Wheat Honey Bread
I love this recipe and make it at least once a week. We've stopped buying bread at the grocery store altogether. This is especially great for sandwiches and will cut into thin slices well. My only changes are to use 1/8 cup skim milk instead of the milk powder and 2 tbsp of canola oil in place of the shortening.

Kung Pao Chicken
I LOVE this recipe!! But I do make a ton of changes. First, I'm using tofu instead of chicken. I don't bother to marinade the tofu. I start by stir frying the tofu with olive oil, a splash of sesame oil, black pepper, and garlic. Then I add veggies--I especially like to add broccoli, pea pods, white onion, and red bell pepper. Once everything is stir-fried, I add the sauce in. To make the sauce, I usually quadruple the amount, except the chili paste. I love hot, but even one ounce of the chili paste is a lot! Last, I throw on the green onion and peanuts. So delicious!
