Manhattan Clam Chowder II
Delicious! a hit with my family. I did everything as stated in the recipe except I brought it to a boil and then lowered it to a simmer (for some reason I have seen a lot of soup recipes do this) also I think I simmered it longer about 45 min. Anyway, I thought it was not bland at all, with the black pepper and thyme and a pinch of salt! I will definitely make this again!!! (Also, I HAVE had this type of soup before, in a can - this tastes at least as good or better!)

Biscuit Baking Mix
I scaled it down to 2 servings (made about 2 cups of mix) and used it to make corn bread calling for biscuit/baking mix (from a Sunset cookbook.) My recipe turned out great! Thanks!
