About this Cook
I am only 20 years old and have just started REALLY cooking. I know all of the basics, but now that I have more than one mouth to feed (living with my boyfriend), I've decided to broaden my skills as a chef. :) I specialize in cakes (especially ice cream cakes) because I used to work as the cake maker at a Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Shop. I love to decorate cakes!
My favorite things to cook
EASY things... lol. I love to cook porkchops and chicken especially... My favorite recipies so far are for cheesy bacon meatloaf and stuffed peppers.
My cooking triumphs
I once created a great Frankenstein ice cream cake for a child's halloween party (see my photos)

The Best Potato Salad
I loved this recipe! I didn't add the black olives, but i did add the pepperoncinis. One thing that I was wondering before making this and would like to clarify for anyone else contemplating this recipe is that the pepperoncinis did NOT make the salad spicy at all! Instead, they added the PERFECT ammount of flavor(and I used pretty spicy pepperoncinis). The recipe didn't say what to do with the peppers, so I diced them finely and removed the seeds, and it was gorgeous! My family has zero tolerance for spicy food, and they loved it! This is easily the best potato salad recipe I have ever come across. For best results, refrigerate overnight.

Dad's Cheesy Bacon Wrapped Meat Loaf
I've found this is a great idea for picky men... men love anything wrapped in cheese and bacon! I did these in large muffin tins (it made six little muffins) because it cooks faster, serves more neatly, and is easier to wrap the bacon! I also added about a tablespoon of worcestershire sauce to keep it moist, and because it is such a good flavor with the beef. Next time i would use a few less bread crumbs, because the flavor of the bread crumbs was a bit overpowering. AWESOME recipe.
