About this Cook
I'm a food loving woman, interested in new and delicious things. I don't go to restaurants very often because I prefer the taste of home cooked meals. If I do go out and like something, I'll try to make at home and better. Quality is everything to me. I'm born and raised in Germany but my mom always cooked meals from all over the world from scratch so I guess you could say that's how it all started.
My favorite things to cook
I love any food that tastes good. My personal specialties/fav's are German food, Panamanian, Mexican, Turkish, Korean...I could go on actually.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's German Roast with raw boiled potato dumplings, aux ju, and cooked red cabbage and another fav is Schnitzel with German potato salad.
My cooking triumphs
Panamanian soup called Sancocho..it's delicious and so healthy. Also, my first German roast with dumplings and cooked red cabbage mom's style.
My cooking tragedies
I am the worst baker you'll ever know. I don't like working with flour.

Banana Banana Bread
This is a super moist and delicious recipe for banana bread. I added walnuts because I like the textural crunch in there, but it's not needed if you don't like walnuts. Thanks Shelley. I'm not a big baker but it came out perfectly.
