Green Turkey and Cheese
I decided to add just a few things to "spice" this recipe up a bit. I made a base of mashed potatoes first for the bottom layer. I then took some thawed frozen spinach and added some minced, dried onion and some garlic powder to the spinach. I put the spinach over the mashed potatoes. I layered the turkey on top. I topped the whole thing with a can of cheddar cheese soup (not diluted) spread to cover, and then the shredded cheddar cheese. The cheddar cheese soup cooked down through the turkey and into the spinach. Delicious!

Raspberry Chocolate Chip Muffins
I make this recipe instead as a loaf with fresh, homegrown raspberries because we get an abundance of them in our yard. I cook at the same temperature as the recipe calls for but instead use a greased (with REAL crisco, not spray) loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes. Turns out great! The nice thing is you can then freeze them to have all year long. Just thaw unwrapped on the counter for an hour ang it is ready to eat. For an added treat, toast slices in the toaster oven and then slather on a thin amount of butter. Yum!
