This was the first apple pie that I've ever made. I liked it because it was simple yet yummy. My husband even liked it and he is not a big fan of pies. My only issue with this recipe was that I felt/tasted flour mixed in with the apples. I don't know if I didn't mix it properly or bake it long enough. Any suggestions as to what I did wrong? Besides that I thought it was wonderful.

I took this in to a potluck at work and ran out early! Did the avocado and it was perfect. I used store bought tortilla chips for work. When I made this at home I made the tortilla chips but I fried them, not baked them. For some reason they just were not coming out correctly.

Instead of using drumsticks I cut breasts into strips. I also followed another suggestion and used a Tbsp of cornstarch instead of a tsp. I served it over white rice and my husband loved it! Even better as leftovers after reheating. I think next time I'll try dicing the chicken after browning the strips.
