I am a stay-at-home mom with tons to do. We are remodeling and I don't have much room in the kitchen, so I have to keep my cooking simple. I love to try new recipes any time, but mostly pastas, pizzas, desserts, and stir-fry. To make cookie plates every year to pass out at Christmas. Having the children in the kitchen with me making up recipes. I have won several ribbons at County Fairs for my baking - apple cake, orange brownies, ginger snaps and some others I can't remember. I was in a hurry one year getting my Christmas baking done, and I forgot to put the baking soda in my apple cake. Also - forgot to put eggs into ginger snaps one time. I have to go over my ingredient list to double check everything because I get into too much of a hurry sometimes.
