This recipe is extremely sweet- almost too sweet. (And I love sweet!) It does not taste like honey at all other than the intense sweetness. The pear flavor is very good in it though. I added a box of fruit pectin to make it thicker like jam. Maybe I should have left it out, however. Also, I doubled the recipe and it make 9 pints w/ a little exra. This was a little labor intensive for me for the amount it made.
