Though, this winter I've been cooking lots of stews, soups, chowders etc, and experimenting with our slow cooker. My paternal grandmother made the most amazing clam dip for every holiday. Now I carry on that tradition. After experimenting for years with ribs I've finally created a combination that rocks. It's a lot of work but they are simply amazing. Recently, I've been experimenting with how to make the best steamed clams and mussels. After several tries, I think I've got it down.
