RN Anything in a Crockpot. (Although I don't eat beef, pork, or lamb.) I use my pot for chicken, turkey, soups, stews, etc. Also like using the microwave, but not for browning of any kind. Any food that gives me the option of oven or microwave--gets the oven. No family traditions. Probably my lemon zest cheesecake. It costs me a small fortune to make, but it is good. Also, like the concoction I make in my crockpot of layered zucchini, 3-4 types of cheese, and spaghetti sauce. Depending on how much liquid is put into this (how thick the spaghetti sauce, etc), this will cook down to something like a zucchini lasagna without the noodles. It's really good. When I was first married (many, many moons ago), I iced a cake while it was still warm. Everyone reading this knows what happened. Anyway, I didn't want my new husband to come home from work and see it. So, with many tears of frustration, I flushed the thing down the toilet. Funny now....not funny then. I was so upset.
