This recipe is wonderful! My toddler loves and so does my husband, both very good things. It's so simple too! I work from home and some days I just barely have enough time to get things situated for dinner. This is a perfect side dish for so many things. We especially love it with chicken. Thanks for this! My husband is a big fan of sloppy joes and this was perfect for the both of us. The cloves really did something great for this. I didn't change a thing and don't think I ever will!

First thing I made in my crockpot I received as a wedding gift from my grandmother over a year ago. Wish I had listened to her sooner about how great a crockpot is with a young child! This turned out wonderfully. I added more spices and cooked it on a bed of potatoes and carrots with some onions. Stuffed onions and bellpeppers in the chicken with some fresh chopped garlic. I might try it as is next time but I don't know because it turned out so great! My husband and my toddler boy loved this. It was truly wonderful and thanks for sharing!
