I was pretty pleased with the way this turned out. I used the blueberries that I had in the fridge that were about to go bad - I wanted to put them to use. I did what someone else suggested and put the struesel topping in the bottom of the bundt pan so it would show when I turned the cake out. I also added walnuts to the struesel mix and didn't make as much of the struesel as the recipe called for. My husband actually made the wonderful suggestion to add a cream cheese layer in the middle - smart man! I will do that next time I make it. Also, this cake tastes a lot better the next day after it has sat out covered on a cake plate.

I made this the other night for my husband and we absolutly LOVED it! I did everything the same as the recipe except I used the deer steak I had on hand and cooked it in the oven with beef broth and covered in foil for 2 hours. As some of you may know, deer meat is hard to get to taste good nd be tender, this method really helps and we cannot tell that it isn't beef! Thanks for the gret recipe! I will be making this a lot.

This was such a wonderful recipe! This was the first time for me to use fondant and I have never made it before. The recipe was very simple and extremely yummy! I just started getting creative with birthday cakes and made this fondant cake for my Mother-in-law's birthday and got soooo many compliments on it.
