I am a grandmother in my 70s, happily retired and enjoying life. For most of my working life I was a teacher of English at the secondary and junior college levels. Baked ziti, chicken Kiev Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner I don't feel triumphant about any of my cooking accomplishments, but I've always made sure to set a beautiful table, replete with Waterford crystal, English bone china, and shining silver.
