AMAZING!!! This cake turned out wonderful! I did cut down the baking powder to 2 tsps, but the turnout was beyond words! Light, fluffy and moist!! It you are looking for a cake that tastes similar to store bought box mix, this is it!!! I will NEVER buy cake mix ever again!!! Thank you for sharing this one of a kind cake recipe!

I made this frosting to a T and it was soo sweet! Not a bad frosting, but not my favorite. But, I maybe stuck on store bought frosting. Any suggestions on how to lessen the sweetness? I did love the texture and how great it was for piping! Easy to color and make. Just too sweet for me!

I followed directions exactly! This cake turned out wonderful for frosting, and did not taste bad (nothing like cornbread, where do people get this?) The only thing I thought was wrong with it was how bland it was to me? But this maybe because I have never had, much less made a cake from scratch! My only suggestion would be to add more flavoring or sugar perhaps? I'm a new baker and do not know how to add sugar and flavoring without messing the whole thing up? Any suggestions?!?!
