Perfect Turkey
Today was the first time I've ever attempted to cook a turkey. I've always wanted to but was afraid of failing at it and ending up with a dry hard turkey that I'd have to throw out. This was so simple to prepare and bake! The meat came out so juicy and flavorful. I think it might just be the best turkey I've ever had, just don't tell my mom....The only change I made from the original recipe is that I didn't use any thyme. I wanted to, I just didn't have any on hand so I went without it. Still super delish!!

Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Didn't really care for this recipe. I've been craving chicken salad for a few days now. I was so excited to try this recipe based on it's ratings but thought there were too many competing flavors. It wasn't what I was hoping for.

Onion Rice
I served this with baked chicken when I had dinner guests over. Personally, I thought it was a little bland. However, I had very little left over and my 2 year old devored it, continually requesting more. Instead of using regular black pepper, I used seasoned pepper. I think this made a difference in making sure there wasn't too much of pepper taste.
