I am not yet out of high school, but I have been in the kitchen since I can remember. My earliest cooking memory is making bread pudding with my father when I was five or six. I love to make dinner, especially when my boyfriend comes over, because he provides a challange: he's a vegetarian. When I was younger, my dream job was to be a detective disguised as a chef. Times have changed, but I still love to cook. I plan to be a wife and mother that loves having a meal ready every night!
My favorite things to cook
I love making sauces, especially for pastas. I adore pasta and all of the different shapes it comes in!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every winter we make Welsh Cakes (Welsh Cookies) using my great-grandmother's handwritten recipe.
My cooking tragedies
Every time I experiment in the kitchen, my little sister says, "I'm sure it will be great. I always love the stuffyou come up with. Well, except for that one time." That one time was a bright idea I had to try creating a peanut butter chocolate sauce for something. It did NOT work out.
