About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook just about anything and I love trying out new recipes. My favorite thing to cook is Gumbo and Crawfish.I also enjoy making desserts and candy to put a smile on peoples faces. It really makes me feel good when someone likes my cooking.I am going to put the crawfish recipe on here soon be sure to try it.It is out of this world and the Gumbo too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favortite family traditions are during the holidays.when the whole family gets together for all the awesome food.We also get together every year to have a huge crawfish boil, and it is out of this world. There is nothing like a beautiful day on the lake and having a crawfish boil spending time with friends and family. We play poker and other games outside while cooking crawish. Those are always my best memories.

Chocolate Trifle
I thought this recipe was wonderful!!! It was the 1st thing gone at a family reunion.I put carmel and toffee bits between each layer.I use fudge pudding flavor and french vanilla cool whip as another stated and it was wonderful.I also use a bigger package of brownies to make sure I had enough and I am glad I did cause it was just right. Thanks for a great recipe!!!!

Better Than Sex Cake II
This is a really good cake.I use the Heath bar crumbles you get in your baking isle at the store.Down here we call it Heath Bar Cake.I don't put slits in the cake, cause when you put the carmel on while it's still hot it will seep through the cake. You also won't end up with it all at the bottom of the cake. Please add the cool whip to it.It really compliments the cake well.

Cheesy Ranch Chex(R) Mix
This is a good recipe, but I tweaked it a little since I am a cajun from louisiana. Instead of butter I used olive oil just enough to give the mix a glossy shine. Also omit the microwave a wax paper step.I also added granulated garlic and little dry dill.I also added cayenne pepper to give it just a little kick.Omit the parm cheese it kind of throws it off. Those that have trouble getting it mix add the dry ingredients a little at a time to mix evenly.
