I am blessed to be both a Marine wife and a stay at home mom of 2. I love to bake and cook and I am always looking for a new recipe to surprise my hubby with. My favorite things to cook would have to be the arabic recipes that have been handed down in my fathers family, good old fashioned southern meals and mexican meals from my mom's family, but my real passion when it comes to cooking is baking! I would have to say is when we get together to make a large meal like tamales or grape leaf rolls or even our traditional Christmas eve Chile Rellenos meal. My biggest triumph was making my first Thanksgiving day turkey this year we went to a big pot luck type of dinner and mine was the best and most eaten, so I felt pretty darn good about that! I'll have to think about this one there are a few.
