'So This Is What Heaven Tastes Like!' Cream Cheese Bars

These bake up so nice! Really yummy! I left the nuts out altogether and made an 8x8 pan with just chocolate chips (for the kids) and another 8x8 pan with chocolate chips and dried cherries. Both were good but the dried cherries really took these bars to the next level. I went a little light on the dried cherries because I wasn't sure how it would taste.. next time I will definitely add more..YUM! Brought these to two different houses of people and everyone loved them!

Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding

I thought this recipe was good. I took others advice and only used half the sugar the recipe called for.. definitely sweet enough. Next time I think I will make the following changes: Add a little cinnamon, mix some of the chocolate chips in and save some to sprinkle on top (many of my chocolate chips sank to the bottom), blend the banana with the liquid, and I will also add more bread than the recipe called for. This recipe is a little more custard like and so I hope by adding a little more bread to soak up the liquid a little more. Tasted great though.. especially warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Chicken Enchiladas with Creamy Green Chile Sauce

Loved this recipe which came recommended by a friend. A keeper for the recipe box. Easy to make and could even be made ahead and refrigerated until ready to bake for dinner.

Strawberry Avocado Salad

LOVED this! Made it for the first time and took it to a dinner party... everyone loved it! Quick and simple to throw together and tasted wonderful! One of my new favorites. My husband that doesn't like avocado even liked it!

Loved this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and did not have trouble as others stated with my cookies flattening out when baked. I also thought that the sugar/cinnamon measurements for topping the cookies before cooking were more than enough!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Thought this was good, very easy and quick to make. I took others suggestions and added sugar which I think added a wonderful slight sweetness to it. My only hesitation about making it often in the future is that it is really still very similar to regular corn bread.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

YUM! The family loved these muffins.. my daughter had a friend over and they raved about how good they tasted. I also substituted the yogurt for sour cream.. moist and delicious! The 25 minute baking time was right on. I used mini chocolate chips and regular sized ones. Definitely a keeper!

Butterfinger Cookies

I thought these cookies were good. I made them because they reminded me of my Dad, who loved Butterfinger candy bars. I will keep the recipe on hand and probably make them again sometime in the future when I want something a little different than more common cookies.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

So easy to throw together. My husband loved it, he said it reminded him of his childhood but better! My seven year old loved it too! Definitely will keep this one on hand to make, recipes like this one makes things a little easier on a busy household schedule!

Ultimate Shrimp Scampi

I thought this recipe was wonderful! My husband does not like onions so he snubbed it. The sauce was very light and fresh tasting (probably why my husband could see and taste the onions). This is a quick fix meal that tastes upscale. Will make again!

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

My husband loved this! I put this sauce over 4 cheese ravioli. I was nervous when I started making the sauce because my husband does not like onions or large chunks of tomatoes. For my husband I after letting the onions, can of diced tomatoes and spices simmer together I threw them into a vita-mix blender and blended them, then added the cream and butter. It turned out wonderful! I gave the recipe 4 stars instead of 5 simply because my 2 daughters 8 and 22 mo. would not eat it, I think their taste buds might not be ready for this one just yet. I will make it again for me and my husband though! Great sauce!

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

This recipe was easy enough and my girls (ages 8 & 22 months) loved it! I gave it 4 stars because I would probably enjoy a little more sophisticated flavor, but at the same time I have tried other mac & cheese recipes that I liked and my girls won't eat. This one is a keeper because my girls enjoyed it and will eat it so I can see myself making it several more times.

Chicken Enchilada Soup III

I thought this recipe was fantastic! I already had a roasted whole chicken on hand that I had purchased at the store so I just shredded the chicken and used that (such a time saver!).. other than that I followed the recipe. I did follow other people's suggestions and mixed the masa harina with warm water to help disolve it, it still seemed a little gritty when first incorporated into the soup but after simmering the soup for the recommended time had diluted completely and thickened the soup. To my delight this tasted just like Chicken Enchiladas. The chicken stayed moist and yummy. My husband and I both like a little spice so we topped our servings with mexican hot sauce, extra shredded cheddar and a little sour cream. I shared the leftovers with family members who loved this recipe just as much as we did! I will definitely make this recipe time and time again!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Wonderful recipe. So easy! I couldn't find boneless pork ribs at the store so I purchased bone in. The pork fell right off the bone and tasted moist and wonderful just after cooking it in the beef broth in the slow cooker. Once added to the BBQ sauce it was perfect for the sandwich. Great tasting.. the right BBQ will make the recipe stand out even more. Definitely a recipe that will be used in my house often.. easy and delicious!

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Stuffed with Spinach and Ricotta

My family thought this recipe was okay. There wasn't much flavor for the amount of prep and cook time. I probably wouldn't make it again. I cooked the recipe for the time directed and the chicken still appeared pink.. after serving and eating the chicken it was a little dry and overcooked on the outside (despite the still pink appearance) and somewhat moist toward the inner part.
