About this Cook
I am a stay home Mom and have been married for 9 years. I have 2 adorable little boys ages 6 and 3 and a great husband. We run our own business and have been doing that for about 8 years. I like to cook, although I'm not very experienced at it yet. I really love great tasting recipes that are easy!! Those are always the best!!!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are great, easy dinners for my family. I like all of it really. I also like to make cookies, cakes, banana bread, poppyseed bread, frog eyed salad, and any kind of potato dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Poppyseed bread and frog eyed salad are the things my Mom makes for the family for holidays that everyone can't live without. It wouldn't be a family get together without them!!!!
My cooking triumphs
I consider any recipe that I don't screw up or burn a triumph!!!!
My cooking tragedies

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
Awesome recipe!!! I followed someones advice to add bread crumbs to the topping and it was a great idea. I made it the first time with the bread crumbs and the topping stayed on top perfectly but the second time I forgot them and it all melted off the fish. It took me a minute to figure out what happened. I will always use the bread crumbs from now on. I also added about 1/4 tsp. paprika and everything was wonderful!! This is a keeper!!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake
I don't need to say it again, but I will!! It's perfect. I had never made cheesecake before, so this was my first and it came out perfect and it does every time. I followed some of the tips in the reviews and didn't have any problems. I didn't have a spring form pan, so I just split it into 2 pie pans with graham cracker crusts and obviously didn't cook it as long. It turned out perfect and does every time!!
