Japanese Beef Rolls

I really liked this! I did add more than just soy sauce to the meat. Sprinkled garlic powder, onion powder and used tamari soy sauce. Very good!

Chocolate and cream cheese = amazing! A reviewer did state that they make 18 instead of 24, but I tried to stretch it out. They were very low inside the cupcake liners. Still good, but I'll make them into 18 next time

Whoopie Pies VIII

The sandwich cookies tasted not even sweet. I guess the point is that you're suppose to eat it with the filling. But don't get me started on the filling! It tasted like shortening and sugar. That's it. Will never make it again. Bakers Beware!

I did not like this at all. I did it exactly as the recipe stated, and it was bland and tasteless. It wasn't bad, I could eat it, but it didn't make me go for seconds. I'm not sure what could make this better.

This is what is so weird about different tastes and opinions - I didn't like this at all, but my husband went for seconds! I won't deny that this recipe is great, look at all awesome reviews! But it might just be me that didn't like it.

Rolled Fondant

This was my second time trying to make homemade fondant. I had tried the marshmallow recipe on this site, but that was a disaster. This recipe worked out so well! I couldn't find glycerin, but the end product seems fine without it. What I also learned was that instead of using powdered sugar to help it not stick to me, but to use shortening on the rolling pin, mat, and my hands. This way it doesn't dry out the fondant! Great recipe.

Fast and Easy Tofu Lo-Mein

Super easy and tasty, reminded me of my mom! My only qualm was that I couldn't mix the tofu and veggies into the noodles well. But I still ate it : )

Hard Chocolate Glaze

This is SUCH a great glaze! I've been trying to figure out what kind of frosting/glaze/fondant to use for my mini heart shaped cakes for Valentine's. This was the winner by far! I added a little more chocolate chips (I used a 12oz bag) and the butter and voila! It was spreadable with the ratios I used and I put it in the fridge and it hardened. I will say this, it wasn't like hard like it would crack like creme brulee, but it had a wonderful sheen.

Strawberries 'n' Cream Trifle

French Bread

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

I had a lot of trouble with this which may be my fault. I didn't have enough muffins holes in my mini muffin tin so I just put them on parchment like regular cookies. I didn't adjust the time (if I needed to) and the bottoms turned charred black. I had to throw them out, I was sad.
