Pumpkin Bundt Cake

The pumpkin flavor I have been looking for! I used instant vanilla pudding because that's what I had and doubled the pumpkin pie spices and it came out moist with a delicious pumpkin flavor! Perfect cake for autumn, I'm enjoying it now with some hot tea for breakfast. It was done after exactly 55 min for me in a silicone bundt pan. I love how easy it was to throw together. This will be making an appearance at my Thanksgiving table!

Ginger and Spice Cookies

Delicious and simple, these came out better than I expected! I pressed them down a little bit and them came out with a crispy shell and soft inside. Even the bf, who doesn't like sweets and only crunchy cookies, declared these his new favorite. I sprayed the measuring cup with Pam before measuring the molasses so it wouldn't stick. Thanks!

Sesame Noodles

This was delicious and very simple to throw together. I had it warm for dinner and my boyfriend and I both enjoyed it. I was a bit worried about adding the chili sauce but its the perfect amount to add flavor and not too much bite (I don't like spicy food). I look forward to having it tomorrow cold! Thanks for a great recipe.

Caramel Frosting V

This was a very interesting recipe, but too sweet for my taste. However, my bf who claims to HATE sweets, liked it! (He could have just been nice though because he saw how time consuming it was) After over two hours in the fridge it did not whip up like a frosting, stayed very sticky. I added 2 T of cream and 2 T of powdered sugar - that gave it better consistency but is likely why it is too sweet.

Nutmeg Cake

This delicious cake has a very dense crumb which made it easy to decorate. I made a double layer cake with a crumb coating, and it was beautiful and scrumptious. I enjoyed it a lot - Thank you! Followed the recipe exactly.

Chili con Carne II

This was my first venture into making chili and it came out very well! I was light handed with the paprika because i figured I could always add more. The cinnamon really adds a special flavor to it. I did halve the cloves because my bf hates them :) We made a TON and we are looking forward to freezing and reheating it for the next few weeks.

Homesteader Cornbread

Delicious and moist with a great corn flavor! Made to go with chili con carne tonight and this came out as a great accompaniment. Not too sweet, nor too heavy; a perfect light crumb. The first time my boyfriend had cornbread and he loved it! Thanks Willow's Mom!

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

I followed the recipe to a T, including the 4 whole cloves, and used an immersion blender instead of a food mill. It came out sensationally! Much better than any canned soup. My boyfriend didn't like the cloves (next time I think I'll take the cloves out before pureeing), but he added some celery salt and dried basil and loves it. Thanks Charlotte!

This was phenomenal! I messed up a bit by letting the mixture sit for a little too long in my pie crust and then it sloshed all over the place when i tried to put it in the oven...other than the lack of beauty because of my own mess up, it was delicious!

Easy Vodka Sauce

Fabulous! A cinch to put together - I was able to study and check on the sauce in intervals. I made the stated serving size amount and froze it in quart size zip lock bags for when we don't feel like cooking during the week. To my amazement it reheated with the same flavor and texture as the day I made it! Highly recommended. Thanks for the recipe!

Eggplant Parmesan II

This was absolutely fantastically delicious! It was the first time my boyfriend had ever tasted eggplant parm, and he adored it. I had wanted to show him what my favorite Italian dish tasted like, since it's unavailable in the Italian restaurants in Israel, and it came out perfect - like an eggplant parm lasagna. I followed it to a T, just decreased the serving size for 2. Served over pasta it is absolutely divine! Thank you for a fab recipe!

Hearty Hot or Cold Roasted Tomato Soup

This came out terrible for me. Giving it three stars because it was the first time I had tried to make a soup this way, and others said it came out well for them. I loved the idea of roasting the tomatoes first, but it came out too liquid and tasteless.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

This is a rather straightforward recipe - it just came out a bit thicker than we like, and had a strange texture. I added milk until it was the right consistency for us. Added a pinch of cinnamon and tsp vanilla per personal preference. Good and simple. Thanks for the recipe!

Quick and Easy Brownies

Perfect brownies! Followed recipe exactly except I cut the flour to 1 c per other reviews. My boyfriend LOVED them, and he hates sweet stuff. He took them to work today and they were devoured. Just the right amt of fudginess. Thank you for this great recipe!

Broccoli in Roast Chicken Drippings

This was convenient and very easy! I cooked the broccoli for 10 min in the drippings from my roast chicken. Next time I will degrease the juices first to cut down on fat. Thank you for a great idea!

Four Egg Yellow Cake

This is my favorite yellow cake recipe! It's so moist because of the shortening and bakes to a tall beautiful cake! Very easy to ice as well. I highly recommend following directions to a T. It always comes out well for me!
