I love to have people in our home. As the wife of a pastor and mother of three children, it seems that we were always entertaining and I never quite knew who would show up for a meal. What fun! Wish I had a dollar for every buscuit I have baked! Pot roasts, lasagna, quesadillas, apricot/salsa chicken (it's great!), and pizza. We always had a roast with carrots and potatoes in the oven before leaving for church on Sunday morning. Hamburgers on the grill are almost always a Saturday night special. Saturday morning brunch is a favorite also. I loved cooking with my children and they are all excellent cooks as adults. I finally learned to make a pie crust from scratch. The process of learning to make that pie crust from scratch!
