Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
This recipe was very good. I've never done a taco type soup before so I decided to give this a shot. I didn't have some ingredients on hand, so I just used two cans of black beans, one can of regular diced tomatoes and a full can of tomato sauce. I also didn't have the seasonings on hand (except for taco seasoning) and this recipe was still delicious. I added garlic powder, salt, and red pepper flakes and it was very, very good. However, I do think the beer gave it a bit of a bitter taste, but I hate beer anyway. May try the chicken broth next time, but my husband LOVED it the way it was. Highly recommend serving with cheese and crushed taco shells/chips and any other dressings you see fit. delicious

Chicken Pot Pie IX
Hands down one of the best pot pies I've ever had! Used a flaky pie crust recipe from this site for this recipe and my dinner was a HIT. NO ONE in my family likes veggies OR pie crust (especially husband) but they ALL cleaned their plates. I even had this for breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend this recipe. I did follow some of the changes, mainly doubling the sauce stuff, and it turned out wonderfully. I would highly recommend doubling the sauce because otherwise I DO believe it would be too dry. It was just perfect with the sauce doubled.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust
This pie crust is wonderful. I have never made a pie crust in my entire life-never had a need to as I usually HATE pie. BUT...I decided to make a chicken pot pie and needed a crust. Whipped this up around lunch time, put in the fridge, and four hours later took it out. When I tried to roll it out cold, it was a disaster, so DON'T do that! I couldn't even roll it out at all, so I warmed it up a bit with my hands, rolled it out and viola! This recipe WAS NOT enough to make a double crust for my pot pie. I am baking the same thing tonight and doubled the recipe, we'll see how it turns out! Like I said, I HATE pie, mainly the crust, but this was so delicious I even had it for breakfast the next morning. My husband even ate it!
