Peanut Butter Cake II
This cake was great - strong peanut butter flavor, good texture, and not too sweet. I used chunky peanut butter and a butter-flavored cake mix because it was all I had in the house and the final result was delicious!

Coco-Cola Cake II
I'd never had cola cake before and decided to try the recipe on a whim. I guess my expectations were very far off; I figured that the small amount of cocoa involved would boost the cola flavor and the cake would taste like... well, cola. I was very, very wrong. The combination of cocoa and cola resulted in a flavor purgatory - this cake isn't chocolatey enough to be a real chocolate cake but isn't cola-ish enough to really be a cola cake. This cake's ONLY redeming attribute was its texture (most, springy, good crumb).

Chinese Barbequed Spareribs
When I found this recipe I knew right away that I had to try it. I went to the store to buy all of the ingredients I didn't have on hand and used substitues for whatever I couldn't find in the store. I used Bragg's Liquid Aminos instead of normal soy sauce, a half and half blend of regular salt and garlic powder instead of garlic salt, and because my local grocery didn't have any cooking wine I used some flat 7Up (<- sounds bad, I know, but it turned out fine). These ribs were absolutely delicious. I'm no longer a slave to my local restaurant's spareribs - now I can make my own! :-)
